What weird thing does your pet do? *PunkStarChik*

Hey Everyone!!

After reading Miss C's post about her crazy little cat (hehe), it got me thinking of some of the weird things that my cats do. I have two cats, they're around 6 months, but I still like to call them kittens. LOL!

Mittens likes to go under blankets with us when we sleep. My bf said that he never met a cat that liked to sleep undercovers. If we give her a little piece of meat, she will growl like crazy while she is eating. Even when no one is near her!

Mittens would want attention on moment, then she doesn't. Then she does and then she doesn't. She likes to sit real close to the computer screen and watch me type. When I wear a certain pair of socks, she will attacks my feets. (Good thing that they're thick socks!) She likes her butt spanked too.

Tigger likes to bang his head against the wall and doors. When someone is in the bathroom, he throws a fit and tries to take the door down. When he's using the litter box, he doens't cover up his dookie, but he will wipe his paws on the toilet lid and the side of the bath tub. (It's a pretty good size litter box too)He likes wearing clothes too. He will try to put on shirts that are laying on the floor. (hehe, he thinks he's people). He likes to sleep with dirty socks too.

Tigger likes to break off his collars. He's on this third one right now. I don't know how he breaks them! His last collar was like impossiable how he broke it! When we're both sleeping, and he sees one of us move, he will jump onto the bed and purr really loud and get in our face just to feed him. He hates human food. When he hears the cat food bag being brought down from the cabinet, he will stop what he's doing and run to his food dish. He likes to sleep in the weirdeste positions too. Sometimes he looks like he's dead. You could hold him upside down and he doesn't care.

These are only a few weird things that they do. I could go on and on what they do weird. LOL! What weird things do your pets do?

Date: 7/23/2003 2:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 61966    My mom and dads bedroom door is kinda of loose when its shut so the cat likes to put his paws under the door and shake it! He keeps doing it until someone lets him in. I've never seen a cat fetch before but if you throw something crinkly in a ball, he'll go get it and bring it right back to you. He loves opening cabinet doors...in the morning every single one of them will be open. Sounds like your cats do some strange things too!
Date: 7/23/2003 2:47:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    LSR...LOL! Mittens is a tuxedo cat, what was yours?
Date: 7/23/2003 2:49:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Breathing Body...Tigger is really good at opening cabinet doors. He would open and shut them repeatedly. Gets sooooo annoying!
Date: 7/23/2003 2:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 46527    A beautiful Ginger tomcat
Date: 7/23/2003 2:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 35720    My bird, Squeaker, can whistle the "Ed, Edd, and Eddy" theme.
Date: 7/23/2003 2:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    LSR....Aww! Tigger is a stripped cat, I don't know what type he is though.
Date: 7/23/2003 2:54:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Rika...Really? That's a funny cartoon! Two of my parents birds can say "Ouchy" when you tap your finger on their head.
Date: 7/23/2003 3:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 45948    Peanut my dog will get up on the couch and sit up like a human (on her butt with her legs out in front of her and back against the back of the couch) and watch TV!! She is such a trip when she does that!! Love,
Date: 7/23/2003 3:11:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    AngelEyez...LOL! My dad's dog, Max (who is a major lil brat) He would bark his head off when you're walking around and when you pick him up he's shaking like crazy because he's scared. He thinks he tough but he really isn't.
Date: 7/23/2003 3:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    My cat lacks any kind of grace or coordination. All the adjectives that you would normally use to describe a cat just don't apply. He even walks loud. I don't think that he would have survived in the wild because he's so unstealthy. I watched him fall off chairs, out of trees, and trip on the carpet while trying to run.
Date: 7/23/2003 3:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 56410    Yikes, sounds like Tigger's got a bit of a problem there.. heh.. none like my cat, though. Miko... every time I leave for more than two days - it doesn't matter where I go - he manages to get hurt. This time he's acheived blindness in his left eye. At least, thats what we think. We're taking him to the vet today.. Poor kitty ;_;
Date: 7/23/2003 3:30:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Wildbob....LOL! Tigger is like that also! He is soooo clumbsy. When we are walking behind him sometimes, he will fall onto his side and just lay there. LOL!
Date: 7/23/2003 3:32:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    AV...aww poor thing. Sometime when we're away, not even that long, he will knock things over and get stuck in empty soda boxes. LOL!
Date: 7/23/2003 3:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 25390    My kitty, Velvet, thinks she's a dog. She HAS to have a belly rub everytime I walk in the apartment. She insists upon sleeping on her back (she's doing that right now....inside my overnight bag...and her tongue is hanging out). She also likes it when I play with her feet. She will just sit there and let me roll them around and clap them together. She loves to be brushed, but insists upon attacking her brush before I can brush her. She is also OBSESSED with water and the bathroom. Everytime I walk in the bathroom, she has to be in there with the sink faucet on so she can either play in the water or drink it. If I close the door and she's not in there, she will meow at the door and put her paws under the door until I give in. If I am taking a bath or a shower, she has to sit on the back of the toilet until I'm done, so she can get in the bathtub. A couple of times I've caught her sleeping in the sink. Also, I have to keep the toilet lid down at ALL times because she will take a swim in it (I'm not even kidding)! She refuses to drink from her bowl if the water has been there for a few hours, because she will put her feet in it and play in it. I could go on and on!
Date: 7/23/2003 3:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 62222    My sister's cat also called "Tigger" is the most cracked out cat I have ever met. He likes to hurt you when he loves you by head butting you and then nipping you ears. He also runs up and down our hallway at break neck speed after he goes to the potty in the litter box. That cat has issues that should be addressed by a kitty therapist. He is unbalanced. I call him "my bad little BeBe kitty" from that movie "Bebe's kids" that was out in like 1990 or so. Man he has behavioral problems. It's okay though...he is still my fuzzy serpent and I love him.<regretfulhalo>
Date: 7/23/2003 3:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 8278    my cat likes to sleep on the computer. i can't quite figure out why. i go to boot it up, and there she is, sleeping on the monitor. lol. i have a chuhaua (sp) who does too many wierd things to list. he barks when people leave the house, but NOT when they come in. he likes to drink coffee. when the alarm goes off in the morning, he licks your face until you wake up. LOL
Date: 7/23/2003 3:38:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    OddSmell...Oh geez! LOL Some reason Tigger likes to go into the shower after it's being used. He likes to lay in there. But he hates the sink and hates being near it. He loves being combed with a flea brush. He's always purring when I brush him. Mittens, on the other hand, hates being brushed. She will hiss and growl. Sometimes Tigger puts his paws on my lips so I kiss them and take them off my lips. Then he will put them back on my lips. LOL!
Date: 7/23/2003 3:40:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Regretfulhalo...I hate it when the cats run around like crazy. It's can be scary sometimes! LOL! Tigger has so many nicknames: Tig Tig, Tig Tug, Tug Boat and a few others.
Date: 7/23/2003 3:42:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Cage....LOL A coffee lover! Maybe it sleeps on the monitor because it's warm? I dunno, hehe. The cats try to get up on anything high because they like being up high so they will get on the fridge and entertainment center.
Date: 7/23/2003 3:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 56410    Hehee, does he get out by himself?
Date: 7/23/2003 3:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 38601    lol...you're kittens sound cool...when we first got my bird she was three months old and had no wings to speak of (as in they were there, but she can't fly) So we'd let her out of her cage, and she'd climb to the top and then dive bomb to the floor, thinking she could fly. And whenever my hair's wet, her and the bird I had before her would grab my hair and shake it around. The bird I had before used to fly into windows and there would be prints of him on the back window and after he'd hit it, i'd walk back there and find him staggering around on the floor and have to carry him back to his cage...and my bird now is really attached to my mom and one day she went to wash the dishes and my bird followed her into the kitchen, my mom said she was washing the dishes and she heard little thumps coming from behind her and my bird was marching down the hallway, and by the time she got there my mom was done washing the dishes and my bird had to follow my mom back to the living room...oh and this bird is deathly afraid of hands, she'll hiss at your fingers, but she loves to peck at my boyfriend's hands. And my first bird, whenever he had games out, would pick up the pieces of the game and carry them to the box and put them back in, lol
Date: 7/23/2003 4:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    My dog, since she is a bull dog, snorts like a pig when she eats. And she snores reaaaaallllllllllly loud! If you say the word 'walk' she goes CRAZY!! She loves to go for a walk. lol
Date: 7/23/2003 4:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    Oh ya, I forgot to add something. One time I took her for a walk and she got soooooooo hot and was huffing and puffing. Luckily, I had my cell phone with me and I called my mom to pick us up. I didn't think Maggie could make it home. So the next day, we bought her a baby stroller so she can ride in. Whenever I take her for a walk, she gets to ride in the stroller for half of the time and walks the rest. lol. One time we had the stroller in the tv room and we were all watching tv. Well Maggie comes in and jumps into the stroller ready for a walk! lol She jumped in there and started watching tv with us! Maggie also loves the word 'stroll.' I say 'Maggie, wanna go for a stroll?' and she goes nuts! lol
Date: 7/23/2003 4:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 54084    My horse will back into me, pinning me to a wall until I itch her butt. She watches me the whole time she backs up. It cracks me up. She's so deliberate about it. It freaks other people out because they think she's going to kick me.
Date: 7/23/2003 4:55:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    AV....LOL, he couldn't the very first time.
Date: 7/23/2003 4:59:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Roxie...Awww how cute! I grew up with living with birds. So I'm a bird lover also. We would have the birds on the kitchen table and they would join us when we eat. We try not to let them on the floor though. Sadly, one of my mom's friend's, who raises birds in her house, accidently stepped on one of them while she was vaccuming. It was so sad. We also made sure to have the birds wings trimmed so that they won't fly around. It's funny when they try to fly but they just fall down. hehe
Date: 7/23/2003 5:01:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    LOL Roxie! I accidently pressed the submit buttons too much before..hehe, I deleted the repeated ones. IT's okay
Date: 7/23/2003 5:03:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    SportiAngel...LOL! I bet that looks soooo cute! My parents dogs go crazy when someone says "bathroom"
Date: 7/23/2003 5:04:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Silents Star...LOL! I've only rode a horse a couple times. I remember riding it and it walked me right into a tree.
Date: 7/23/2003 5:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 54084    Ouch!! Sounds painful! LOL!
Date: 7/23/2003 5:21:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Silents Star...LOL it wasn't. He was going pretty slow. He just wasn't listenting to me. Another time, I was trying to have him walk up a small hill but instead he wanted to gallop. I wasn't used to being on a horse so I slipped off and had the wind knocked out of me. LOL!
Date: 7/23/2003 6:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 13283    My lil chihuahua Romeo raises BOTH legs when he tinkles on an object . Its quite an odd sight . My rot is really rotten ! He raids the neighborhood and leaves everything in my backyard . He has brought several stuffed animals , kids toys , sandals , gloves , bags of rice , skates , spray cans , ect . Im in the process of compensating everyone he has looted so far . I am now installing a six foot fence and I have him chained at night . This dog is the BIGGEST pain in the butt I have ever had . Date: 7/23/2003 6:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 62221    Well my boy cat doesn't cover up his business in the litter box either. He leaves it for the girl to do. And the girl is very good about covering up her business but I guess she then thinks her paws are dirty so she goes over to our curtains and scratches them (like they usually do on a scratching post) but the funny thing is she has no claws. That is just one thing that they do, they are such a trip sometimes. *Brown Eyed Angel*
