Lemonade or ice pops
Popcorn and white fake Christmas trees
Green tiled bathroom
Hair scraped back
Braids, clips, pigtails, dresses
Messy, dirty, filthy, grubby, cotton-picken'
Sprinkler w/ poison ivy everywhere
A club, first time at school
First tooth to fall
Don't forget
I don't want to move on
But I'm being pulled forward
By myself
But I don't want to leave
It all behind
I have to make new memories, I know
But...
Remembering is not as sweet as reliving
I can only remember
And it hurts sometimes
I realize
Soon I will be gone somewhere else
It'll be gone
I'll forget
Dad's overalls and reading
Watching the moon
Learning
Growing
I can't remember but
