There are a lot of sites to get printable coupons for the pull ups, they will probably be the easiest way to potty train him at this point.... ![]() |

My kids used pull-ups from the time they were 2 until they were completely potty trained which was almost at the age of four. Each child is different I wouldn't push him to do it. ![]() |

well maybe she go to teh store and see if there are differences in the size of normal toilet seats...take him with her and they may be able to find one that he would not fall in. My son is almost 6 and he is pretty big for his age and if he were to sit on teh toilet with his legs closed he would fall in also so maybe she just needs to teach him a different way to sit on the seat...I dont have any other ideas though but pull-ups are not that expensive although I do not care for them at all my daughter did not wear them and she was potty trained in about 2 weeks my sons both wore them and it took almost 2 years for each of them and the only way I finally got tehm fully trained was to quit using pull-ups completely ![]() |

well i think he should be potty trained..most kids should be able to be by the time they're two. of course you can't rush anything..but I was potty trained when I was 18 months. I saw a thing on tv on ways to do it. First you get a doll the kid likes and pretend it goes potty. afterwards, throw a big party with balloons and signing..(well it doesn't have to be BIG but just get the kid excited). repeat the experience with the doll several times. each time asking the kid if he would like to try going potty. eventually they'll give in because they can't wait for the party afterwards. it seems to work like a charm everytime. however there is a problem since he can't fit in the toilet. hmm I don't know what to do? all i can suggest is look for more toilet seats? I know sometimes they have padded like ones for normal seats that may make it a little more smaller. ![]() |

Boys are usually harder to potty train and many boys don't get fully trained until they are 4yrs of age. To a press a child before he/her is ready can acutally cause the child to regress and not want to use the toilet..thus causing more problems. The child has to first realize that they are going to have a "Number 1" and "Number 2" and that they have control over that before they can be trained. The best way, although it is messy, is to use regular underwear. It allows the child to feel the "Wet" sensation and he/she will dislike it. They'll get trained faster. Pull ups are too much like diapers and many children have trouble differentiating the difference. My Kiddo's were big ol boys too ![]() ![]() ![]() |

OMG.. I just Love the new tag! as for the training I am sorry I am clueless as to what to do other then to get a board and cut a hole in it so that she can place it on the toilet, they actually sell them but since she is low on funds she can make one. I wish her lots of luck. ![]() |
