Escaped maniac?? I have heard alot of those. I believed teh one about the guy and girl broken down and teh guy gets killed and hung in a tree and the girl hears a scratching noise on top of the car but didnt get out actually happened here in my hometown when I was younger. LOL I was very gullible |

There are so many it's hard to choose. From cryptology to knife or hook swinging crazies to vanishing hitchikers. Some suggest that behind each legend there is a factual event that started it, so who knows. I'll just stick with my ghosts, thank you.  |

Yes I think that is the case with most urban legends...oh the one about pop rocks and coke is not true I have tried it before. |

Pony Express I have never heard that one before...I have one of those stores about 6 miles from my house I go there all the time of course I dont look at the coats since I live in Florida we dot have a huge need for them I rarely ever wear a jacket. But still that sounds creepy |
