They Are Building A House In My Backyard *Dinah*

I am so upset right now. At the edge of my backyard there is about 80 feet of woods. It has rabbits, turtles, snakes, skunks, etc living in it. Well, a few hours ago I heard a bulldozer so I went outside to investigate. Someone was knocking down all the trees in the woods. I talked to the man who was in charge and he told me a man had bought the property and was going to build a house there for him, his wife, and their nine children. I absolutely hate this. Those woods were where my cat went to play. Some little neighborhood kids had built a fort there and now they're back to playing in the street. I'm most upset about all the animals that they killed. Every year we've been watching these little brown bunnies grow and now they are most likely dead. If not, they soon will be with nowhere to live. I'm so depressed right now.

I'm trying to convince my mother to move but she keeps laughing and saying she doesn't have $10,000, whatever that means.

A few years ago, we had the chance to buy the woods and now I wish we had.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the man said that we don't even own 10 feet of our backyard and they plan to build as far back as they can. Nine children running around my yard. Now, more than ever, I am going to try and find a job so I can move into my own place.
