How A Wiccan Handles Spirits and Evil Intentions

In the Wiccan religion, evil is not something as common as in other religions. Evil is something that is brought on by oneself, and many Wiccans do not believe in practicing evil, or it will come back to you "three-fold". Wiccans believe that evil a choice, and a bad one at that. It is also not something to blame your actions upon. Destruction is Evil. There are three ways in which a Wiccan deals with evil;

"(1.) They deny that evil exists;



(2.) They appeal to finite godism (or goddessism);

(3.) They appeal to humankind's free will."

They "regard harm as the result of imbalance, and evil that of terrible imbalance." We found this very interesting. Wiccans do not want to embrace any evil in their life, and we see this as a good thing. It is said that evil does exist, just through things like cruelty, hatred, disease, famine, war, suffereing, murder, etc. "Evil is a fact of life." This does make sense, evil is not something made for religion, it was made for every day life.

Now I will explain the Wiccan concept of three-fold. An important saying for this is "what goes around comes around." Wiccans do not practice evil as whatever they do, they believe will come back three times as bad. This is something very strange to think. But, it is something that would scare a Wiccan out of performing evil.



Wiccans also do not believe in evil symbols or entities such as Satan. These are in the mind of the believer, and they give these their particular meaning, not the symbol or entity itself.

Wiccans do not believe in sin either. They believe it is also a concept used to bother peoples' minds. The only sin is unbalance; with people, nature and humankind itself.

Wiccans live by an ethical code, the Wiccan Rede : "an it harm none, do what ye will." They believe that "(1.) That any evil done to another will come back upon the perpetrator three-fold or more, and (2.) In some form of reincarnation (and the moral law of karma which governs it." This reminds us of something like the Bible in the Christian religion.

ROOM/SACRED SPACE PROTECTION SPELL INFO: I wrote this spell SPECIFICALLY to protect my room from astral travelers(and of course bad/evil things), but in the end it's basically just for protection. YOU WILL NEED:

1 Blue candle Dragon's Blood oil (for the candle annointing) Rose incense 1 piece of Amethyst

After cleansing,consecrating and casting annoint the candle while visualizing yourself being safe and happy. Place the amethyst infront of the candle. Then light the incense and candle. Now, while visualizing the walls becoming white protecting light(like the candle flame) say the following:

Do not see, Do not touch. Be nice to me, But not too much! Enter here and be turned away, No evil may enter here any day! Walls of protection do not fail! Keep all uninvited visitors away from my space! With harm to none, This spell is done!
