The Birth of Rage

  Author:  43274  Category:(Poetry) Created:(7/20/2003 8:14:00 PM)
This post has been Viewed (1085 times)

there was a ragged man who followed in no footsteps
There was no one who could quell his raging soul
His skin a roadmap of his past and permanent trials
That always showed him where he used to run

When he was young and innocent, there was no boundry to his dreaming
But slowly, those dreams cracked and fell away
And slowly, glowing embers began to burn behind his eyeballs
And they soon became the flames of unbridaled Rage

Date: 7/20/2003 8:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 61950    Don't you wish we could all hold on to our innocence? Everything would be much easier, but your mapped out skin reminds you of bad times....but in those times you grew. Anyway...I'm gonna stop before I go off on some random tangent like always. Marvelous job on the writing and by the way...it kind of sounds like the Division Bell....I like that. Hope to see you soon, baby, but until then I Love You!!! *STEPH*
Date: 7/22/2003 5:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 56840    Marvelous images.. Your words lend so much richness.. This unnerved me a little, as I think it's supposed to do! Hehe. Keep writing..

Date: 7/25/2003 6:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 13897    i never understood such anger. glaring to the world- the hate just seething from their eyes. after the sadness had passed, all there left was rage. wonderful poem.. brought back memories.. and i love writing that makes me feel. even emotions that aren't so pleasant. the emotion is what is important.
