Well this may not be TOO mysterious, but it is baffling to me. I haven't had this problem up until recently. Its become apparent in the last few months that I hear different things that I've never heard before. It's quite odd too. I can't make out what I'm hearing, but it feels as though my ears are beiing tuned to a 'differen't frequency and thats the only way I can describe it. A very soft buzzing or ringing pitch goes through out my ears and alot of times I think I can hear faint talking and whispers. This only lasts for 30 seconds or so and usually I am by myself when it happens. Its just at random times, maybe once a day or so. I guess the oddest thing about it to me is the different frequencies. It feels like my mind is switching channels for a moment and I'm tuning into something really different then normal humans. as far as I know, no one else in the room hears it if i'm around people when it happens.
