Ozzfest 2003 Review ~Pinkbunny~

Ok, it was 11 A.M. The first 2nd stage bad gets up and RIPS up the stage. And so on until 5 P.M. (I'll tell you who I thought kicked butt in a min.) FIRST UP: Chevelle. The Red was amazing. All other songs were so so just because the mic was a little messy. You could barely hear him over the rest of the band. 3 stars out of 5. SECOND: Disturbed. Their 25 minute set was amazing. Absolutely flawless. Great energy....they were the first reason I went this year besides Ozzy. I was NOT dissapointed. 5 out of 5 stars. THIRD: hahaha MARYLIN MANSON: Oh My God...No, no, not OMG, I really mean Oh MY GOD! Ok, we all know we love Ozzy, but honestly, Manson was the idol of Ozzfest this year. He put on the BEST SHOW I have ever seen. mOBSCENE was awesome, he is absolutely the best when he's live. 5 out of 5 stars. FOURTH: KORN: Well duh. Awesome as always. Although, he didn't talk TO the crowd much at all. Maybe a few words. And other than Ozzy he had the longest set! Kinda sucked. I wanted to hear his voice more. And the treble was a bit much. I know, not their fault. 4 out of 5 stars. FIFTH: OZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYY: 25 out of 5 stars. Oh lord, this man, not only sang, but absolutely ASTOUNDED the crowd. He got both hoses and sprayed the crowd, as well as opened up the flood gates. the stage had MASSIVE water cannons way up top. Needless to say, after the hoses, and yes, Ozzy also tossing buckets of water, the crowd was SOAKED. He sang VERY WELL and was so full of energy, I couldn't believe it. ALTHOUGH, Ozzy was elated. He announced in the beginning of his set, that his wife, Sharon went to the hospital, and the report is...........She is COMPLETELY FREE OF CANCER! Man, the croud went wild. Phil loved it all, he got down front for a bit. Shane and I stayed up top so we wouln't get run over or loose each other. Poor Shane and I also look like Lobster that was cooked too long. We are SEVERELY burned. But...........it was well worth it. *~(Second stage bands I liked : TWISTED METHOD, NOTHING FACE, HOTWIRE and MOTO GRATER)~* Personally I did not like the others, Just a bit too hard n heavy for me. ESPECIALLY Crade of Filth. They had a large crowd, but I just don't get how you can like words you can't understand at all withought looking them up online. Then again, are we sure it's all english? LOL, Had a blast, if you get the chance to go and have never gone. Do whatever it takes to get there. Bring Sunscreen and LOTS of $. Stuff ain't cheap, and souveniers are plentiful! one last message to the general public................BEWARE OF DRUNK PEOPLE................they are not too bright.
