Tania sat alone in her room, watching TV. The house was dark; all the servants had gone to bed. Except Mary. She was watching...waiting...
Creeping softly around the corner, Mary slinked into the hall by Tania's room. She held the shiny silver knife in front of her that she had gotten from the kitchen. Mary's slow, even footsteps made no sound. But then, she stepped on the board that always squeaked. Usually Mary remembered that spot in the floor. Gasping, startled, Tania shot up in bed. The TV light played an eerie greenish-blue on her face as she stared at Mary's leering face in horror.
"M-Mary?" stammered Tania fearfully. "Why are you here?" Slowly, Tania understood. Mary's fiance, in that car accident. But it hadn't been her fault! It hadn't!
<<The rain pounded down on the car roof and windshield, making it impossible to see. Tania was driving in her car alone. It was night and dark on the street. No streetlights made it hard to see outside. Suddenly, through the gloom, a figure appeared. Tania screamed in surprise and hit the brakes reflexively, throwing the car into a skid. The car fishtailed and hit the man at 60 miles per hour. There was no saving him. Mary had been on the curb, taking to her fiance, who had been steeped in withcraft and had been trying to kill himself. Thus, Mary vowed revenge on the person who had hit what had been her loving, kind fiance. And that person was Tania. She would make her suffer as Mary had suffered.>>
"It was your fault," Mary hissed as if she could read Tania's mind. "My fiance..." Tania whimpered as Mary drew closer. "It won't hurt at all...even though it SHOULD. But I want to get out of here before the police come by."
So, very slowly, and while she watched, Mary slid the knife into Tania's chest. Painfully, she died.
Mary sliced up Tania's body well and then hightailed it out of there. The police never found her, only Tania's slashed body... How it changed my life:I wanted the bad guy to win for once.
