Update on my haunted house

July 6th, 2003 ----- Since I have written my story last week, my house has gone silent because I have taken advice from you people who replied to my story. Thank you for your kindness and help. This is what I have done to make the haunting 'thing' go away. My mom gave me a silver crusafix and I hung that up in the center of the house. I started praying a bunch to God to keep all of us from harm and sickness. I also did something I feel a bit embarassed about because there is still a part of me that's not 'completely' convinced my house is haunted. I called out to this 'demon' and told it to go back to where it came from and to stop haunting us 'In Jesus Name'. AMAZING I tell you. I have not had any night terrors since. The mysterious scratches on my back stopped appearing. I feel sooo much better physically and mentally. And the window in my bedroom stopped slamming shut by itself. The brownish red stuff stopped appearing (dripping) down my walls (I still have to wash off last weeks 'stuff' of the walls however). And the TV stopped turning channels and turning off by itself. I feel I am closer to God more now than I have ever been before. If the 'demon' or whatever does come back to haunt me again, I will let you know. God can do some pretty powerful and amazing stuff for us who believe in Him. Thank you for reading my story.

Here's my story from last week: June 30th, 2003 ----- I have lived in this house (duplex) for 6 years now. I never believed in haunted houses or ghosts until I moved here. I blamed all the weird noises on my neighbor on the other side of the wall. Since I have moved here I have been in and out of mental hospitals and eating disorder units about 6 or 7 times. I've been extremely suicidal, self-mutulating, diagnosed with Manic Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Social Anxiety, Agoraphobic, Panic Disorder etc. The only disorder I had before I moved here was Bulimia and Depression. These were added after I moved here. I didn't make the connection until recently though. About six months ago I started doing research on the internet about haunted houses. I found out there may be a spirit trapped in this house. So that explains all the nasty scratches on my back. Almost every morning for a couple years I would wake up with a new scratch on my back. My boyfriend (of 4 1/2 yrs.) told me it must be one of the cats. The problem is, most nights I sleep on my back. I believed him anyways until now. Shortly after I moved in I started getting night terrors. Extremely violent nightmares except they seemed too real. Most of them involved demons, Satan and Hell. My psychiatrist told me it must be caused from my medication. About a month ago I asked God to help me fight this demon thing in my house. I think it is growing angry because there is a bloody type substance dripping down my walls in the bathroom and the hallway toward the kitchen. In my research I found out that is a sign of poltergeist. I have noticed this stuff since I've moved here, just in my bathroom though. I didn't think anything of it and always wiped it off but now it has traveled. My boyfriend and I are looking for another house to live in but houses are soo expensive. My rent here is REALLY CHEAP. My cats are afraid here too. They see 'things' and run. The past few months I've become so ill. All last week I had a very nasty cold. Now I have the stomach flu. Do you think this evil thing in my house is inflicting illness on me because it doesn't want me to leave? Should I have a Minister come to my house to 'rid' of this 'thing'. I know I can't become possessed by this demon because I am a Christian, just not a full-fledge Christian. I think I've losted a little bit of faith since God took my brother in a construction accident 10 years ago. I do, however, think I am demon oppressed (from what I've learned). Should I have a Minister come to my house to 'rid' of this 'thing' and bless all of us? Or have I really gone just 'crazy' and should just stay on a bunch of brain medication? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my story.
