If I ever hurt you
Or make you cry,
If I ever want to
Just say good-bye
Remember I’m sorry for hurting you,
But hold my hand
And we’ll make it through.
You’re my star,
My knight to save the day,
And when I feel your gentle kiss,
I don’t know what to say.
I love you even more
Every morning,
And more when lay down to sleep,
I think of you all night long
Instead of counting sheep.
I miss you when I close my eyes,
And tremble when I hear your voice,
When you ask me if I love you,
Honesty’s my only choice.
We’ve had our ups and downs,
But things always turn out right,
I almost fall to pieces
When you kiss me goodnight.
Falling asleep in your arms
Is the best feeling in the world,
I’m so glad that I’m the one
You chose to be your girl.
