Date: 6/28/2003 10:28:00 PM  From Authorid: 3125    Ancestry.com has some good information but if you want to view the census, etc., you have to have a paid subscription. The following are some free sites.USGenWeb.com..Rootsweb.com..Gencircle.com..Familysearch.org...Also, try typing in "genealogy" and your state. This will give you some free listings.
Date: 6/28/2003 10:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 53900    Go to your local library they usually have the geneaology cds either on a database which you can search there or you can burrow them. That is what my sister did
Date: 6/28/2003 10:54:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 43608    Only for your state or what? Cause I need more than state.
Date: 6/28/2003 10:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 53961    Go here <http://www.familysearch.org/> It's free.
Date: 6/28/2003 11:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 53900    I think for the world cause we are not from the US originally our ancestors were from all over Europe
Date: 6/28/2003 11:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 31255    Besides the ones Resure mentioned this is also a very nice one to connect with other researchers and make lil post/queries about what your looking for... http://genforum.genealogy.com/
Date: 6/28/2003 11:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 3125    Sasuke..You can type in any state and type in genealogy and some states will have some sites listed for that particular state. Some states have a lot and some very little.
Date: 6/28/2003 11:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 3125    Also..The ones I listed are not limited to any particular state.
Date: 6/29/2003 8:32:00 AM  From Authorid: 31765    Also, check out the Latterday Saints website. They have a ton of records, offered free. Ancestry.com is a pay site, but gives the first 2 weeks free. After that, there are still family trees you can search, done by other people, and many times you can find information that way. Good luck, and feel free to message me if you need help. I've been doing genealogy for quite a long time
