Ancestry.com has some good information but if you want to view the census, etc., you have to have a paid subscription. The following are some free sites.USGenWeb.com..Rootsweb.com..Gencircle.com..Familysearch.org...Also, try typing in "genealogy" and your state. This will give you some free listings.  |

Go to your local library they usually have the geneaology cds either on a database which you can search there or you can burrow them. That is what my sister did  |

Sasuke..You can type in any state and type in genealogy and some states will have some sites listed for that particular state. Some states have a lot and some very little. |

Also, check out the Latterday Saints website. They have a ton of records, offered free. Ancestry.com is a pay site, but gives the first 2 weeks free. After that, there are still family trees you can search, done by other people, and many times you can find information that way. Good luck, and feel free to message me if you need help.
