mean cheerleading squad *snowymoon06*

first off, i'll tell you this. i have nothing against cheerleaders for i am one myself. i was in football and men's basketball my freshman year.

my football squad was good - as in how we preformed. there were cliques inside this squad of 8 girls. really. 6 against 2. i, of couse, was one of the 2. the other girl was a little heavier (when i say a little, i mean a little) and she's one of the sweetest girls i've met. the other girls were the popular girls. all of them were sticks or they uh got around. i'm not stretching the truth here - they got around. well one of the other girls, "mary", was nice, but she was one of those who had to have her way. all of the girls participated in a stunt (besides "jane" and me) the only one i participated in was a double base (or that's what we called it). trust me people, that is nothing. oh it's not an elevator either. and i was a base so my sweatshirt is now stained by dirt from the girls' shoes. yeah, we tried to do something, but they never let us... they were so good though. we were doing basket tosses and split extentions... it was really cool

so it was on to winter season. me, hoping i could actually be in a stunt. well there were 9 girls this time. one was my (now ex) best friend. (she did all these things...they weren't cool...) one was a friend "nancy" and one was a girl i went to school with a long time ago, "lucy". again, there were cliques. the popular girls were all sticks again. by sticks, i mean thin. "mary" was one of the popular ones again. eventually, i went up in one (and i mean one) elevator but no cradle - they didn't bother with me. of couse they had to put "mary" up. she went up every game (hey, we counted) and she is built just like me. at the squad cheerleading sleepover, everyone went except 3 girls (all who don't like the squad now. 1 of which who is my friend "nancy" she's friends with me, but she knew they'd be doing bad things) now when i say bad things, i mean bad things for 15 year old girls. they were telling stories about their sexual encounters (some aren't virgins! and some are straight but they had a fun time talking about how they got drunk and did things with other girls!!!) they drank wine coolers and went out to have a smoke with the neighbors. i had no part in this and had an absolutely terrible time for no one talked to me.

now i'm afraid it's all going to end up just like it did before. i'm a co-captian for men's basketball, but i'm with "mary"...she's a co-captian too. all the girls were on squads with me before. i just don't know how it's all gonna turn out because my parents know i had a terrible time last year so they want me to quit and turn away and say i should do something else. i had a great time - minus all the cliques and parties. i do enjoy cheerleading becuase it's a lot of fun. i just don't agree with anything that the girls do...lie to the coach and do all that stuff that's illegal until you're 21 and all...

i just want to know, what do you think i should do? should i quit or stay?
