This is another true ghot story passed on by friends. One night, when I lived in Fort Carson,CO(my husband is retired military)I was sitting around with a neighbor & some of her husband's friends when they related this story to me. There is an old hospital in Ft Carson that is partially located underground, & was used to house wounded & shell-shocked soldiers & their families during WW1. It's no longer used, but they still have to post a 24-hour guard since a local group of a satanic cult uses the tunnels & hallways to practice their ceremonies,(THAT's another tale!). One night while my friend was pulling guard duty, he heard footsteps going down the hall. When he checked it out, no one was there! As he passed one of the empty hospital rooms, he heard the loud cry of a baby! Again, no one was there! He went back to his post & did not investigate any other ghostly sounds. They have a difficult time finding any soldiers willing to pull guard duty at the old hospital & many have reported the sounds of women moaning & screaming, footsteps, & babies crying. The hospital was scheduled to be torn down when we were there in "94 so I don't know if any of it is still standing, but I'll bet the tunnels are still there!*WolfBit*

There's a whole group of people who go exploring places such as this. Do a search or "urban ruins" or "abandoned places" and it will turn up a ton of websites of people who've gone on these adventures. They post their stories and pictures they take. I'm just fascinated by this..lol..
