I am the mellowest chick in the world, but one chick that decided she didn't want to merge behind me when the lane ended, she layed on her horn, scaring me half to death & causing me to slam on the brakes & swerve...then I got stuck behind her at a light, I looked around & made sure no kids were around, then I started cussing out my window, calling her a few choice names & asking her where she got her license LOL I was really angry with her but I kept my cool..Becky's right...that was a freaky situation..I probably would have taken down the information...Just because while driving at those high speeds, you could have killed someone...taken out a family or somthing like that, that would have been tragic. It's hard to keep our cool with people like that running around on the roads so I can understand the rage. Take Care! |

Wow, thats pretty bad. I hope your all okay. Next time, let it go. Its not worth risking your life. Theres a lot of bad drivers out there. Always drive with that in mind. Be cautious. |

Chasing someone that way makes you one of the whacko drivers too. What if a kid had run out in front of you while you were going so fast? |

I agree , I would have NEVER chased him had I been on my own ( by myself) . I think i was being overprotective of my wife and a little foolish . It was a spur of the moment thing and I was not in my right mind . Becky he was okay . He got out of his car and started inspecting his damage done . Lady Phoenix that is true and I feel real bad . I am sure this will be the first and last time I do that . Razzy aka |

I agree with Lady Phoenix, what you did was just as bad if not worse. He may have bumped the back of your car but you put not only yourself and your wife in danger but any other person on the road that day. |

Road rage could be so dangerous and cause us not to do what is best in a situation like that. My son, his g/f, a nephew and I went to Va. We were all going to Va beach and following my other son and his family. Suddenly this van with two men pulled up beside of us and almost hit the side of my van. No one knew what was going on. That man kept trying to run us off the road. Finally he pulled in front of us and slammed on his brakes and both men were yelling vulgar words and flipping us off. We finally realized that this van had been behind us and with the traffic being bumper to bumper, when my son made a sudden turn to get over into the right turning lane, the man in the van behind us must have not noticed our turn signal and he had bumped the back of my van (we found this later. I still don't get why he was so upset at us. Anyway..That man stopped his van in all that traffic and open his door to get out. My son stopped and he and my nephew was ready to jump out. My other son saw what was going on and he stopped his van to jump out. I suppose that since the two men saw they were out numbered they jumped back into their vehicle and left. That was the smart thing to do. I was so upset at them that I believe between me, my son's g/f and my other son's wife, we could have taken at least one of them ourselves. |

I dont consider you the victim here..I consider you AND the other driver the problem..Your wife and any other innocent bystander were the victims here..Someone could have seriously been hurt because of both of your poor judgement. |

LL you said it, I came back here because I was thinking of a way to tell him about the title but now I don't have to, you said it perfectly. Victims do not agressively seek out there attackers. |

I am not using the term 'victim' as in poor little me . I succumbed to road rage . Me and him both had road rage . He had it and then he gave it to me . That guy was disrespecting my lady and I lost my cool , which I shouldnt have . I should have let the police take care of it like someone mentioned . Magoo I am agreeing with you . Razzy aka |

I had several "road rage" incidents ... one that I'll never forget is when I nearly hit a motorcycle and almost got rammed by a truck behind. The road was downward and the light on my lane is green - when I got into the intersection a motorcycle came from nowhere - I slammed the brakes really hard and my tires exhibited a loud screech - the truck behind me was a hair away from my spoiler - these tomboy with 2 passengers behind her (1 of them was a kid) thought that the red light includes my lane. when she looked in the traffic light it was still green on my lane a few seconds later it switched to red and that's when she confronted me and insisted that it was already stop on my lane! I was so furious because she should have thanked me that at the very last second my instincts got the better of me - I didn't even know how I managed to put the car to a halt! Instead of thanking me she pointed a finger at me and said things (I could just make out her words my window was up). She even made a re-tour and looked at my plate number as if she's going to file something against me! I was way angry so I told her --- well I don't think the admins would like it lol. I almost knocked my head on the wheel out of extreme anger ... I kept thinking that if I had only known that she would act like that it would have been better if I have not stopped at all! Oh well ... thank God that I did lol! |
