I just thought this was interesting, hence being put here in Interesting. I watch on a regular basis Forensic Files on Court TV. And on the episode last night there was a man who raped a lot of older women. I was telling my mom about it and she said it reminded her of something that had hsppened around the time she graduated high school. One of her high school gym coaches had a mother who lived in an area where this particular crime was being committed in the area.
He was really worried about his mother so he decided to go and spend about two months with her until the culprit was caught. He was also coincedentally married and it wasn't going too well. His wife gave him an ultimateum (sp?), either stay at his mother's and they get divorced, or come home and they can work it out. He went back to live with his wife, his mother was killed that night. And he and his wife eventually got divorced anyways. Wasn't that terrible? I can't stop thinking about it. How decision, either well thought out or split second ones make such impacts.
