It sounds good but I would want to let the grease cool down first because I wouldn't want it to wilt the lettuce. I would definately add the bacon and I would rather have regular onions than green ones. The others would work for me, though. You're right, it's a southern thing. I know about this because I've lived here in Tennessee all my life. I might write a post about southern cooking a little later on tonight. There's nothing like it.  |

I love this stuff I could eat it every day but it wouldnt be advisable.Frankenstien I don't belive ive tried it with just regular onions. I really think it tastes better with the leaf garden lettuce stuff too instead of the store bought kind. LOL either way though this is some good stuff. Hugs&Cookies |
