People might grow another thumb, in the future.
People used to believe that in six million years time we would all have evolved to have grown pads on their hands, due to the increase of thigh stroking. The small pads would then evolve to show symbols on these pads. They also might grow spanners out of their elbows, which would be humourous. What else might we have? Might grow personalized head walkmans which play the most complicated music in our brains, to an amazing degree of clarity and adjustable to any volume. At present we are still incredibly simple machines, with only a thousand functions, ranging from - moving our fingers, to looking to our left. In the future it may transpire that we become simply four beings, a north, a south, an east and a west one, with tentacles which can, depending upon our belief capabilities could make up to sixty cups of coffee at once, if not more.
Perhaps we might evolve the ability to fly. I think one day we may evolve the ability to hover. But we must choose our destinies. If we wish to hover, we must discipline ourselves, by standing on boxes and humming. This is must be accompanied by a partner of ours who is designed to kick away the boxes. We must practice and practice for as many years as it takes.
Our evolutionary state of belief is on a scale of one to ten, the size of a pea. Our bodies, our species is capable of so much. People are now able to drive machinery, like tractors. In the future, our heads might sprout flowers which could be used to attract bees, thus making it easier for the accumulation of honey. It would be a crack in our skulls... But first it would have to come from a subconscious desire, a determination for such an evolutionary event to occur. The will to make it happen needs to be there. In any case, we may develop the loads. Enough to be able never to have any material needs whatsoever. Thus we may de-evolve into marbles, which roll around on trays, which we have also evolved into. We may say 'Impossible', but you honestly never know. Thats what I'm talking about. If we just beleive in ourselves enough, believe we are our destiny and that we are the earth, we may even decide the destiny of mankind.
I see in the near future, after all political problems are dealt with, all wars finished, all groups of campaigners campaigned out, with no medical problems whatsoevery left to moan about, groups and groups of people sub-partioned with strict disiplines. The entertainment industry would set up groups disciplined, to evolve their own make up. Pianists would group together to evolve sixth fingers. They would will them to protrude from their wrists. And we'd evolve the ability to evolve more quickly. If you were a broker, you could evolve your tounge into a calculator, or if you were a hunter it could evolve into a swiss army knife, or a gas cooker. If you were homeless, you could evolve your fingers into marshmallows, couldn't you? And your wrists into some fires. And once we have learnt to overcome our immoral passions and needless desires we would be allowed to individually morph effortlessly into creatures of such wonder. All you need to do is to join the society which suits you best. Then after that, you would have to decide whether you want to assist shoulders.
Of course we'd have to be highly disciplined. Incase we evolve much to much. If we were out evolve the planets capacity, we'd disrupt the continuity of evolution. Our capacity to evolve the ability to deal with differences might have reached its peak and we'd have to start again. We might evlve the ability to collapse into a few bits, and then, sink into the floor.
Pancakes might evolve. They might evolve so they can roll themselves into balls and split into pieces, or pour syrup on themselves, even digest themselves. With enough belief, they may develop so much they may cook themselves, then float into the room where you are, and do a cosmic pancake dance, in the air. If there were four of you, it would put itself into four balls and flash many different colours, leaving the family amused and satisfied.
All we need to do is increase the belief. All we need to do is believe in our wrists.
