Bishop of Phoenix in a bit o' trouble...by ***TRIAD

Only recently the Bishop of Phoenix, Thomas O'brien, was negotiating with the law over his handling(accused of sheltering pedophiles)in his parish. Now he is suspected of a hit-and-run, vehicular homicide. Ironically, it seems, that the pedestrian had been jay-walking, and that if O'brien had stopped, he may not have been guilty of anything (unless of course if he had been intoxicated).

Heaven help us! With priests and bishops like we're hearing about lately...who needs bad guys?

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning any bad behavior but as with any profession you'll have good people there and not so good ones. People sometimes tend to believe that if you "called by God" so to speak that automatically makes you a perfect person. It doesn't. They're still only human. And even though some of them have done some pretty nasty things (and should be punished for it) it should not become a "type-cast" for the whole group. Islander31
