Eww! Eye worms! I hope you get better soon! They say the eyes are the quickest part of the body to heal. I know first hand because a couple of years ago I was going to flip the ashes off my cig. and the cherry came of and landed in the corner of my eye! I am sure the ER got a good laugh at my expense at 2 am that morning! Take Care! |

It could be pink eye...avoid touching anything after touching your eye, wash your hands about 20 extra times a day and be EXTRA careful not to touch your other eye after touching the infected one...you'll probably get drops and back to 20/20 in a few days...Good Luck!... |

Frank..I just got over an eye infection. The doctor had to give me an antibotic for it. He said it was caused more from allergies than anything. I had thought that perhaps I had scratched my eyelid without realizing it and this got infected. I had never had problems such as this before. I had tried eye drops and applying warm clothes to it, but nothing seemed to help and that's when I decided to make a doctor's appointment. This all seem to come about at the same time I was dealing with a bad sinus infection, another thing that I had never had problems with in the past. Anyway..Hope it all turns out ok for you. |

i asked kethria that same thing frank, here is what she said "Date: 6/17/2003 76:00 AM From Authorid: 18527 tea contains tannins, which can serve as antibiotics, high concentrations of tannins are toxic to animals, lower concentrations are toxic to bacteria... " - so i'm going to try it..i have one that is acting up, as of this last week - for me the problem is/was, i wear disposable contacts, 2 week kind, don't take them out at night - your oxygen in your eyes can get depleted or not enough from not taking out contacts, it looks like bloodshot eyes, except the red veins don't go away, if they get to the center of the eye, you lose part of your vision, it gets fuzzier - i think i might have done in one of my eyes by not taking my contacts out enough 8-( we shall see, it's glasses and tea for a week for me *-) |

Hey Frank one more thing. You may want to visit the optometrist. It may be a flake of dirt or metal in your eye that is causing this irristation. One of those people I said had allergy had in fact a seed from a plant (I dont know what kind) in her eye. It had irritated it but the fact was it was as small as a grain of sand. |
