Shadows in the Night...continued By Dragon_tears

"Dang, that dinner looked good too." Rai complained as he and Kei drove down the highway in the night. The road lamps flashing light into the car at a steady beat. He looked over at his sister for a brief moment. She sat up strait with her eyes closed in deep thought. "Kei, you ok?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, I was just thinking. Where are we headed?"

"Down by the docks, I guess there have been some homicides. Strange ones too."

"They are not jumping the gun are they? We are assassins, not police officers."

"Actually they call us 'demon regulators.'" Rai said with a laugh.

"They may call us whatever they wish. We are assassins." Kei said, looking down the road. Rai shrugged.

"Something on your mind Kei, you seem kind of out of it tonight."

"I already told you I'm fine. I just tend to become disconnected before I kill." Kei looked over to her brother her face blank. Rai gave her a concerned look and turned back to the road. They pulled into a parking lot a ways away from the docks and got out.

"Alright, whatever you say sword master." Rai said opening the trunk and holstered to handguns while Kei sheathed a pair of knives. Rai had impeccable aim. He had real talent in weapons such as handguns, although he favored a shotgun. Kei was a swordsman. She had been trained since she was 7 years old in the martial arts and swordsman ship. She carried a custom made Katana, which Rai had named the Dragon's Eye to tease Kei about her martial art nickname, and two long bladed knives along with five throwing knives. Although the both of them had keen stealth skills Kei was the one that preferred to stick to the shadows. Rai was head-on and fast shooting type. Together they made their way to the docks.

"Ok, you ready?" Rai whispered crouched on a bluff which they had chosen as a perch. Kei nodded and Rai jumped down and started his way down and went to work.
