wow, i have been in this situation many times when i was younger. even as i got older i went through this. my parents did not want me to be with my husband when we first got together. even now, my father wants nothing to do with him. it's really hard to deal with it. for me it is because i always look for approval. when i was 14, my parents did not want me dating a guy because of the age (there was a big difference) i thought they were crazy...now i see what they ment. if my child did that now, i would forbid him too. there is always someone who says you can't be with someone else. i say do what makes you happy...but don't get caught. i'd hate to see ya get fired. best of luck.  |
