All I See

I remember not too long ago
Whenever I'd look in your eyes
I'd see the world.
But all I see now are a stranger's eyes
Glaring back at me
An unfamiliar smirk
That seems to wake my inner suspicion
Of the unconditional love
You've always pledged

All I see in you is that moment
Do you remember?
Can you forget?
When you never said it was okay
When it was all
Not my fault.

Do you remember?
Because I try to forget
And what I really want
Is to see in you
Someone who doesn't remember
Someone who never forgets
All the good things
Someone who only sees
Me.
