Moongirl surveyed the anxious crowd and noticed many members of the large audience looked a little green in the face. Shrugging it off as a lighting effect, she ripped open the result envelope and fished out the judges' final decision.
Moongirl: In third place, it's the ever-famous Rika!!!
Rika sauntered upstage to receive the plaque for 3rd place and took her place to the right of Moongirl.
Moongirl: In second place we have a tie between KurtVedder for his stand-up routine and Crystal Peak and Alpha Zero for wowing us with their magic! Congratulations to all of you!
Amanda handed out awards and the three winners joined Rika to wait for the final announcement.
Moongirl: And tonight's winner is none other than our rug-cuttin' sweetie, everybody give it up for Love One Another...(the crowd fell silent)...just kidding...Everyone give a big cheer for our girl Penny!!!
The crowd went bonkers as Penny sachéed upstage to join the others.
Penny: Thank you, thank you so very much! Judges, Moongirl, thank you everyone!
Moongirl: And that does it for another USM Talent Show, don't forget to stop by Coffee Shop where Penny will be performing at 5PM Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next four weeks. See you next time and drive safely.
The crowd wasn't moving very fast, in fact some USMers were bent over holding their stomachs in obvious discomfort. One by one the audience members began to hurl, and before Moongirl could think, like a chain reaction, the whole crowd was violently vomitting on one another and unable to do anything about it.
By the time Cage realized what was happening, it was too late. The angry puke covered crowd was advancing upon their cookie stand and Cage could only run, abandoning their $25,000 investment.
The angry mob took turns tearing down the elaborate stand, trashing all the cooking equipment and eventually torching the whole thing to the ground. Sage was watching from behind the near-by row of port-o-pots.

Kelsey's cell started ringing.
Kelsey77: Detective Kelsey speaking.
FirstBorn: Kelsey, have you found out anything yet?
Kelsey: I'm sorry I didn't call you sooner, I've been working double duty this evening. Your daughter hasn't been seen since this morning at the gym.
FirstBorn: And you didn't think to call me!! Meet me at the corner of 9th and Harding.
Kelsey: I am meeting with Capitol in 10 minutes, why don't you meet us at the dock by the bay?
FirstBorn: I'll be there!

The ambulances arrived in great numbers and the EMT techs began busily getting the sick people on stretchers and sent off to the USM Hospital.
ICUNurse: Wow, that's some intuition you have there, Dr. Zema.
Zema: Too bad I don't have as much help as I have warning. Where are we going to put all these people??
