Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights, and others...

This story is pretty well known, and it was one of the first I ever heard.

Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?- Two roommates in college were totally different. One of them was a party girl and partied all the time. While the other preferred to stay home and study. Well one night the party girl goes out to a party, while the studious one stays back. Well the party girl realises she forgot her purse and goes back to their apartment to get it. When she gets up there the lights are off, and not wanting to disturb her roommate she fumbles around in the dark to find her purse and leaves. That night she got pretty wasted and had to stay with a friend. The next morning she returned to find crime scene tape all over her apartment building. There were cops all over and they asked if she lived there, she said "Yeah". They proceeded to tell her that her roommate had been killed. She ran inside in disbelief. On the wall written in blood was "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights..."

Alternative Ending- She stared in groteque awe at a message written in her friend's blood, "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?" She screamed as the door slammed shut and the killer emerged from his hiding place...

The Blind Man- In Berlin, after World War II, money was short, supplies were tight, and it seemed like everyone was hungry. At that time, people were telling the tale of a young woman who saw a blind man picking his way through a crowd. The two started to talk. The man asked her for a favor: could she deliver the letter to the address on the envelope? Well, it was on her way home, so she agreed. She started out to deliver the message, when she turned around to see if there was anything else the blind man needed. But she spotted him hurrying through the crowd without his smoked glasses or white cane. She went to the police, who raided the address on the envelope, where they found heaps of human flesh for sale.

And what was in the envelope? "This is the last one I am sending you today."

The furry robe-

Two roommates were up late studying for some exam, or what have you. Well they had the radio on aswell but very softly, suddenly an emergency broadcast came on informing them of a serial killer on the loose on their campus. They both grew scared. Suddenly the power went out. The girl tried to find her friend, as she always wore a robe with a fuzzy collar when they were home. She felt for the collar and found it but, there was no head attached...

The man in the middle- A woman was working late, and it was getting dark fast, she had taken the subway to her office, so now she had to take it back home. She dreaded with a passion taking the subway at night. She got on, and when they reached the next stop, an elderly couple got on. She was relieved, but then filled with fear as three "shady" looking characters stepped on to the train, the two men on either side of a third man were propping him up. During the fearful ride to the next stop she noticed the dazed-glassy expression in the third man's eyes. At the next stop, the man from the elderly couple whispers to the girl, "If you're smart, you'll get off at the next stop with us." She got off with them and the man said, "I am a doctor, and I asked you to get off because that man sitting on the train is dead, the two men were propping him up..."

The cadaver's arm-

A medical student was always getting picked on by her classmates. She was always ignoring them and acting like she was above them becuase they were doing this to her. One day, they got fed up with her not responding to their pranks so, they took the arm off a cadaver, and slipped it into the girls bed. The next day when she didn't show up for class they went looking for her, they found her in her room on her bed, her hair had turned white, there was a vacant look in her eyes, and she was emitting odd noises, and she wass gnawing on the arm...
