"Mommy! Joe got out again!" six-year old screamed. "Okay...can you go get him for me?" "Yes, mother!" Emma Rain out the door and called for Joe. Was their Jackrussle Terrier. "Come here Joe" Joe ran up to Emma. Emma put him inside. "Guess what sweetie? We are going to the carousle at the Lincoln Park, Today!" "Yes!" Emma screamed as she jumped up and down. Ding dong...the door bell sounded. "I'll get it!" Emma squealed. "Hi, Karen...Come in, mommies upstairs getting ready. We are going to the park to see the carousle!" "I know hun cause I am going with you!" "Yay" Emma cried and runs off. "Oh hi, Karen" Joanne says while putting make-up on.
THE PARK
There were clowns with bizarre make-up handing out free balloons. There were lots of little kids laughing and having a good time. Then there was the carousle. While Karen, Emma and Joanne were standing in line, Joanne rubs Emma's arms. "Are you cold baby?" "Just a little" "Karen, can you watch Emma for sec while I run to the car for jackets?" "Sure." Replys Karen. Joanne hands her Emma's balloon. Joanne runs to the car. As Karen handed Emma her balloon, the balloon slipped out of Karens fingers and the wind carries it away. "My balloon!" Emma cries chasing after it. She heads right for the street. Joanne puts on her jacket and turns to walk back but she is startled to see Emma running toward the street. "EMMA! Stop! NO! Emma stop!" Joanna yells running. An oncomming semi comes toward them. Emma runs in front of the truck but before the truck can hit her Joanne picks Emma up and flings her safely into the grass but the truck hits Joanne.....
