Somewhere far in the recesses of my memory is whispering "buttermilk". I think it's an old folk type remedy. I'm not positive of this but you may do some searching and see what you find. It may be a wives' tale too...lol... |

yeah, well I know that my gothy friends understand me wanting to pale my skin. I'm naturally extremely light skinned, but now I have this gaudy tanline on my arm.. So that is what I want the skin lightener for. And that URL, well it seems like it's just for facials.. and my face is fine. thank you for the help though! |

I think you can probably use it on any skin though I mean if it lightens your face, might work other places...good luck |

Does it need to be natural? If not you can find skin lightners in most supermarkets and super stores (kmart, walmart). |

it's nowhere near that price in the stores. I don't know how well they work...I know my sister bought them to try to get rid of her freckles but she never tried it. You would find it in the health and beauty aisles near the facial cleansers usually. I am TRYING to remember the name of the stuff my sister bought but can't come up with it. |

i have heard that lemon juice will lighten skin.. i'm sure you can come up with something... i'm not one to tan also(maybe my legs) but i'm strickly if i'm out in the sun i put on a 30 sunblock and sometimes even reapply if it's been a few hours... i take pride in my fair skin and i like to keep it that way*L* |

good for you, Midnightly! it seems as though everyone these days wants to be tan, but it's just not my thing. i don't like to look orange, hehe. and i usually do wear sun block, but of course that one day i forgot it, and there i go... got a horrid little tan. I learned my lesson though! |

Sun is very bad for the skin. Ultra violet rays change the molecular structure and damage the skin. It is the body's defense to activate melanin to protect it. If you don't want to go brown, cover up and use a wide brimmed hat and dark glasses, and also a strong sunscreen. |
