My wish is not for money
Or for a better complection
It is not for self indulgence
It is not for my self reaction
My wish is not for me
It is not for more love
It is for the world
And for up above
My wish is for the world
That affects everyone in a way
Though it can't be solved
Within a beautiful day
My wish is for there to be
No people going unfed
My wish is for there to be
People without things left unsaid
It is my wish that the world
Gets a taste at humanity
Instead or war and death
And complete insanity
I wish I could wish
And make all war go away
Make people love their life
Not wanting to die everyday
It is my wish to see
That everyone cares for everyone
That the grass, the animals, the clouds
Are appreciated including the sun
I wish there to be
No more harmful chemicals in the air
When we think about it hard enough
We really aren't doing things with care
If we thought more about how
Our actions applied to other people
Maybe the world would seem so much better
The church would have a higher steeple
I wish there to be
More love than there is lust
Because if we really do think about it
We are really killing us
