the old horror movies were the best, nowadays its all slasher films. Nope, I liked the ones like Rosemary's baby, The Omen, Cape Fear, The Exorcist, any of the old ones. I think the ones about religion were the scariest because it deals with the unknown and the metaphysical world. ick.  |

Jeepers Creepers was a joke once it got to the part where the mysterious villian guy turns into the dragon lookin thing...at that point it was more humurous than scary. |

jeepers creepers was funny to me also. It was pretty cool until the ugly bat, dragonlike thingy came out. Then i agree with Pyro that it was pretty funny. I agree the shining was very good. ~hereisanameforyou |

I agree with the masses..The Exorcist..I think it is the scariest because first of all it is supposed to be based partly on a true story and ou just don't know..secondly, the special effects were just gruesome, especially for that time period..just incredibly done.  |

theres not that many real scary movies that are out right now there not scary to me at all. But the best one that i have seen was exorcist 3 its so freaky.but i agree that the older scary movies are alot better!! Also my second favorite movie is house of 1000 corpse. that is a GOOD movie but real gory!!!!!  |

Everyone liked the exorcist but when I saw it I couldn't stop laughing, it was so funny (yes I am talking about the first one). If you're gonna watch it and make sense of it it's excellent but I was just watching it and laughing so hard. Well, now that that's over I'm going to choose a movie I wouldn't usually choose for best Horror/Thriller/Scary movie, HellRaiser with the puzzle box. I mean, if you ever wanted an excuse to not solve the Rubix cube there ya go! =-bootz-=  |
