I'm an internet veteran. I've been online since 1993, always with the same company: Netcom! Netcom was bought out first by Mindspring, and then by Earthlink. I've been pretty satisfied with their service. There have been one or two days ehn the serivce was crippled by a breakdown, but the problem was always fixed. The longest I've ever been without service (I have both DSL and a dial-up option) was one day, and that was three years ago! I recommend Earthlink! |

TY Arion1, you certainly have been loyal to your ISP that's for sure =) Is their dial-up speedy and price affordable? |

I have MSN DSL and I love it. I use to have DSL dial up and found it great too. One thing I have learned is for my e-mail address, I only use Yahoo! That way if I chage providers, I don't have to change all my e-mail addresses and notify everyone. I have had Yahoo! for a long time and love it. |

We use AOL and Comcast (cable). We pay 14.95 for AOL (normally, it costs 23.95 but we get a discount since we bring our own access instead of dialing up). We pay 42. 95 for comcast ISP plus the cable modem. |

I have MSN which is pretty good I can finally set my own home page which is pretty cool you have MSN messenger built right in to teh program when you sign in which depending on your outlook can be good or bad.... It has a nice homepage set for you though with lots of info on current events, shopping, and other things...the price I pay is 21.95 a month not sure if that is the current price though cause we had a three year contract |

unfortunately somethign to think about is that a provider may provide to every state but in each state it's different... each town is different one provider might be great in one down but me horrible in another... take that into consideration when you hook up |
