It is Moodgirl..the secret is to smell the tomatoes when you buy them. Some of the tomatoes in the grocery store don't have a smell to them...which usually means they don't have much taste either. But if they have a earthy smell, I promise you they will be fabulous! |

Oh yea trust me I know how that is here we have AC in our house and in the car and just walking the 10 or 15 feet to the car you are sweating. You cant wear pants and long sleevede shirts they are good for maybe two months out of the year LOL. Where did you stay when you were down here TarHeelGirl? |

My Dad lived in Winterhaven, FL. I used to visit him every summer and some christmases. The first time I went durning December I didn't think to change clothes on the train. I was coming from North Carolina where in was cold. I about died from the heat whhen I got off the train...lol! |

Midnightly do you know what the daytime temps were there today? I think it was probably 92 degrees here today not counting the humidity til it started raining. We were out when it started and the rain was like someone waas taking buckets and dumping it on our car. We could barely see and they say we will have another couple days of this the system has stalled over the state. |

I don't know if this will help. I have done it before and it made me fell better. Take a wash cloth or a bandana and soak it in cold water. Then tie it around your neck. It should help cool you off some. If it helps, you could wear it while painting. |

Thats true...if it rains long enugh it does cool it off I know for about a month straight we had absolutely no rain and the air was broke and we could not sleep at night it was so hot I was taking ice cold showers every 2 hours orr so just to cool off |

I am lucky enough to be one of those people that rarely get biten by mosquitoes. I don't know why that is. When I am outside with my friends they are all slapping themselves trying to kill the things and I might get bit once if that. Ia m the same way with poison ivy. I have never had a rash from it. |

it's just the area we're in... the very tip of the island and not around any deeply wooded areas... it's the same reason why we hardly get any rain... we have no mountians to hold in the clouds they blow straight over!!! it's nice! |

jessica i know many people who are trying to set up studios and do it professionally but they can't do it full time because they can't make the money to do it full time... it's like a career in any form of arts or entertainment only very few can do it for a life career... most people have to have a second job to actually support themselves |
