drawing closer to the end
i know its coming
i hear the sounds
of children and their laughter
i'm sitting in the dark padded room
i hear the voice, tainted but violent
people screaming then a slap or a hit
i see people yelling and screaming
while kids are laughing and playing
the man hits the women
the women hits back
the yelling gets louder
the hitting gets harder
i feel my body shaking and i begin to feel cold
