Jamie suddenly realized that her every thought, every minute of every day was about Troy. She was really falling hard for him. It drove her crazy waiting for the weekends to come around, so that she could be in Troy’s arms again. Troy made her feel so special, so alive. Jamie had never felt this way about anyone before.
Finally it was Friday night, and Jamie was beyond happy. Tonight she would be with Troy and that was all that mattered. They had decided to go out for pizza and then a movie at the local theater. Jamie didn’t care where they went, as long as she was with Troy.
After pizza it was on to the movie. Troy had picked out a B-rate horror flick, but Jamie didn’t care. She just wanted to make Troy happy. After a few minutes into the movie, Troy didn’t seem very interested in the film at all. It seemed that his main interest was making out with Jamie. Jamie was a little uncomfortable, after all they were in a public place and Jamie didn’t want to get into trouble.
Troy’s hands were all over her. Jamie felt panicked, but she liked the attention that Troy was giving her. She wanted him to stop, but at the same time she didn’t. Finally Jamie stopped him. Troy made a frustrated face and acted as if he were mad at her. She couldn’t stand the thought of him being mad at her. She asked him what was wrong, but he just shrugged his shoulders and pretended to ignore the question.
After the movie, Jamie and Troy walked out in silence. Jamie’s heart felt as if it were going to burst. Why was he acting this way? What had she done to make him so mad at her? Troy drove Jamie home without saying a word. At this point, Jamie was almost in tears, but she held it back. She wouldn’t let Troy see her cry.
Troy stopped the car in front of her house. As Jamie was getting out, she leaned in the car to tell him that she would call him later. Troy just nodded and drove off. Jamie stood there in shock on the curb in front of her house. The tears finally came in a rush down her checks as Jamie ran into her house.
