i do agree with you ... it does seem out of hand, but, please remember that this country was founded on the concept of religious freedom and the fact that your gov. shouldn't be able to force you to do things that are against your religion. |

But christians can be themselves and are. If christians can't celebrate christmas, then no other religion can either. Celebrating christmas is not the same as exposing parts of the body like in a gym class. Just be thankful that christianity doesn't have any strict dress codes. This is a country of religious freedoms and that is why there is a separation of church and state. That is, freedom to practice religion or not to practice religion. |

i think religions should be respected i don't think someone should have to go against thier religion to do something just because they don't follow the same religion as you... and may i ask what religion says it's against thier following(faith) to take gym... that sounds like a whole load of whooy to me! |

christianity(or any other god bible realated religions) are the religions of the masses... they're holidays are stat holidays... do you think it's right that some people cannot take off a religious holiday because they had a "stat" a week earlier what has no baring on thier religion??....people shouldn't have to compromise thier beliefs... |
