Did You Lose YOUR Class Ring?

Do you have a class ring that either got stolen or lost?

Recently, at a yard sale, I bought a beautiful 10k gold glass ring with a blue stone, for only five dollars. It is a man's ring and is engraved with his first and last name. When I was a young girl I lost my class ring to an X-boyfriend who refused to give it back to me.I have always regreted not having it.

I imagine which ever man lost this particular class ring feels the same about not having his anymore.

If you can come up with the correct name that is engraved inside the ring, I will be glad to return it to you.

Don't bother guessing, like '' Bill Smith '', because the last name is very unusual.

Suggestions on how to find the owner in other ways than this site would be helpful.

CLUE: The ring is from the class of 1978. That's all Folks!

Hope to find an owner, B.J.S.

How it changed my life:

I would be very pleased to find the true owner.

Date: 6/6/2003 1:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 24732    I never bought a class ring. Thinking back, it was a good descision. They are too expensive and don't serve a point except decoration and mere remembrance.

Date: 6/6/2003 2:36:00 PM  ( Admin-V )   yeah i lost to the guy i was dating and we broke up, he wouldnt give it back at 1st, but since he wanted the engagement ring he gave me back, he came around lol
Date: 6/6/2003 2:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 13886    My class ring was from The Class of 2000. It's around here somewhere lol. I guess you could say I lost it, but I think its in one of the cabinets. Probably be fairly simple to find again. Yeah, sounds like he could have been missing his ring for decades. Might be quite hard to find him, he may not even be living anymore. Or he could be living in another country. But don't give up... Good luck finding him!
Date: 6/6/2003 2:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 53128    The ring didn't belong to the people who sold it?
I wonder how they came by it... maybe they know who's it was?

Date: 6/6/2003 6:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 28193    I still have my class ring, and I have been out of High School for 30 years...and you won't believe this, but my ring was only $29.00. (It doesn't have a real stone in it). When I bought my Daughter's ring six years ago, it was like three hundred some bucks, and it is almost the exact same ring.
Date: 6/11/2003 12:25:00 AM  From Authorid: 62100    I lost mine shortly after I graduated..I was out having a snowball fight and it slipped off and I never did find it..only way I probably ever will is to get a metal detector and permission from the old landlords where I lived to tear up the yard..LOL
Date: 6/11/2003 4:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 48250    Someone stole my husband's Class ring, although the stone is not blue, & he had graduated in 1974.., I hope you find the owner.. T/C *Kentucky Bluebird*
