Lilly woke up next to Quinn. He was bruised and cut all over, but still alive. Lilly let him sleep and went to go find Simon. He was in the closet asleep. Still breathing, but had dried blood all over his arms. Lilly got some bandages and peroxide and dressed Simon and Quinn's wounds. Lilly went back to Quinn and sat by him. It was 4:00 am. She would have to be to school at 7:30. Quinn and Simon too. She wondered if they would be alright. Quinn awoke and was moaning in pain. "Quinn? Are you going to be alright?" "Yeah, I'll be fine, nothing I haven't gotten before." Quinn stood up and walked around a bit. Lilly was very concerned about Quinn, but he had more determination then she had ever seen. He would be alright. Quinn and Lilly went to where Simon was sleeping. They carried him into the basement and laid him on a bed nearby. Simon awoke, also in pain. "Quinn, what happened to the demon? Is everyone alright?" "I threw some holy water on the demon and he left." said Quinn. "And yes, everyone is alright. Luckilly, Lilly is unharmed. It's only us two." Everyone gave a little laugh and forgot about the night before. They started telling jokes and funny stories. At about 6:00 they all started to get ready for school. Lilly ran back home before her parents awoke. Good, they didn't notice I was gone, thought Lilly. She changed into a pair of blue jeans and a red T-shirt. She wrote a note to her parents saying she was leaving early to school to talk to a teacher about a project. Lilly left the house and went back to Simon's house. His mom was cooking breakfast. Quinn and Simon were sitting at the table with cuts and bruises. How could Simon's mom not see them? "Ah, hello Lilly! I'm Simon's mom, Laura. Take a seat and I'll have breakfast ready in a second." Lilly sat next to Quinn and was still a bit confused. "Quinn, doesn't Laura wonder about all the wounds you all have?" "Oh, it's ok." said Quinn. "She's part of our group thing. She went through the same thing when she was little. It's all a normal thing for her." Everyone ate their breakfast and headed off to school. Quinn, Simon, and Lilly met up with Rayne, Fawnne and Jeoff. Quinn told them all about last night and tried to come up with a plan to destroy the demon. Lilly then spotted Josh and ran off to see him. "Josh!" said Lilly. "How are you doing?" "I'm fine, Lilly. I was just waiting for you." Lilly then noticed a burn mark on Josh's leg where his pants leg was bunched up. It was pretty big and it looked like it hurt. "Josh, where did you get that burn from?" Josh quickly pulled his pants leg down. "Oh that?, I umm...was lighting a fire and um... I tripped onto it." Lilly was starting to get a bit uneasy. She then started to notice something about Josh she hadn't seen before. His eyes, they had a red tint to them. Just like the....no, it was coincidence. How could Josh be the demon? It wasn't possible. Josh loved Lilly, why would he hurt her friends? But then Lilly remembered, she hadn't told Josh about the group. It would make perfect sense if Josh was the demon, but it couldn't be true. Josh was perfect. Or...mabye he's too perfect.....
