The ghost of a woman in a black robe haunted the streets of this town for many years at the turn of the century. She came to be known as the "Alma Nightwalker" Her ghostly form was seeen by dozens of people, including such notables as Congressman Ashton Schallenberger and newspaper editor H.S.
