Date: 5/30/2003 9:46:00 PM From Authorid: 53900 Well I took my son to the cemetary a few years ago...he could hardly talk at teh tiem and we were visiting his cousins graves who he had never met they died before he was born and he came over and sat down next to me and I asked him if he knew who we were visiting...he said yes. Then he told me they are my angels. That freaked me out we dont go to church and I had not really discussed religion or god or angels with him up to that point. In my opinion that reaffirms my faith that angels do exist. NOt just for those who are dying but for everyone |
Date: 5/30/2003 9:58:00 PM From Authorid: 8726 I have many family memebers claim that they have had other of our family members have seen people in white before then die...all have claimed she is a beautiful lady with blond hair..in fact my great grandfather saw the same woman every time one of his loved ones or friendswas to die and the last time was when he himself died. so I know these stories all to well. |
Date: 5/30/2003 9:59:00 PM From Authorid: 8726 just dont listen to her shes gonna believe what she wants to..just dont sweat it. |
Date: 5/30/2003 10:19:00 PM From Authorid: 53054 when me nanna died she claimed to have seen a little girl angel in her room before she died several times and the last time she saw them there where 2 angels all dressed in white...i think she knew her time was up when she saw the little girl, now im scared to go to sleep at night in case i see her lolz! everyone has there own opinions about stuff like this...i spose you have to respect your mother-in-laws opinion! *hugz* (my nanna wasnt taking any medicines at all) |
Date: 5/31/2003 1:02:00 AM From Authorid: 177 Morphine isn't a hallucinogen...it's an opiate--a pain-killer. The fact that she was on morphine is no reason why she couldn't have seen angels or spirits of the dead. |
Date: 5/31/2003 2:25:00 AM From Authorid: 62104 your mother in law sounds like a bit of a pain in the butt. I don't blame you for not wanting to talk to her about things which are sort of personal to you esp a sensitive matter like that. I do believe that you probably saw your mother or an angel i mean, it is so common though i've never seen one, i'm sure it wasn't the morphine making hallucinations. amanda1 |
Date: 5/31/2003 7:07:00 AM From Authorid: 15157 My brother when he was dieing...was NOT on Morphine...he saw a blue light shining down in his room. I believe he saw more but never got the chance to say. I believe it is possible |

Thank you all for your comments. I find each one uplifting. Yes she is difficult to put it nicely. No matter what I have to say she either knows it all or does one better. I firmly believe people do experience what they say when it happens. Mother-in-law on the other hand uses her opinions as fact to all people. I never understand why I start a conversation when she does not know how to have one. |
Date: 5/31/2003 9:55:00 PM From Authorid: 17275 Aw this chaps my heiny when people think they know it all. Blow her off and don't discuss important issues with her. |
Date: 6/1/2003 3:57:00 PM From Authorid: 48809 "There are none so blind as those who will not see!" Of course there are angels who come to us all.... and particularly when we are in the final stages of passing into heaven! Many people say they have seen beautiful angels and so have I. Apparently your mother in law hasn't though and therefore doesn't know . Don't let it bother you.... if you believe the angels exist, that is all that's necessary! |

Yes, mother-in-law keeps saying that people hallucinate due to the morphine when they are dying. I can never share even a moment that is special to me she likes to "mar" it. My husband calls it 'devil's advocate'. Thanks for reading and commenting. |
Date: 6/12/2003 8:19:00 PM From Authorid: 47113 you can read my story of my mom having a conversation with jesus before she died....i believe strongly ppl are comforted by angels or jesus before they die.....www.unsolvedmysteries.com/282927.html |
Date: 6/13/2003 1:53:00 PM From Authorid: 47113 iam glad my story gave you peace....i would not believe the moraphine story....i once said on this site, it seems ppl always try to talk themselves out of a miracle instead of just accepting one has happened....god bless :-) |
Date: 6/13/2003 2:33:00 PM From Authorid: 15394 I have heard science explain the near death experience/white light etc.as deprivation of oxygen causing hallucinations but I have to ask how a person in a culture different from our own, could see the same described hallway or walkway as a person here... yet time after time, the description of angels, and near death white lights and passageways is very similar regardless of education or cultural background.. hmmm very interesting. Let "mom-in-love" be as open or closed mind as she will be, and YOU explore what you think to be truth |
Date: 6/18/2003 8:08:00 PM From Authorid: 39887 I experienced an event with an elderly lady I used to care for. She was not on any drugs other than oxygen. She had alzheimers and she had not made sense in two years. The day before she died she told us to LOOK, as she pointed to the ceiling. She said there must be 25 of them coming for me. I see mama with them but I'm not leaving until papa comes too. The next day she described all the angels and told us she was going to die. She said, they found papa and now I can go. She described beautiful flowers and music and angels. Its for real, I know it. Someday we will see for ourselves. I think its going to be a beautiful and peaceful exit to eternity. |
