Ceramics class, always a joy. 1st period of the day and we're off working our creativity. As always, we make our way down to the basement into the cold room. Sister Amelia ( not protecting her identity, I feel no point) stands, opening the windows, letting 'fresh' air in. ( Which isn't an option at my school because they're tarring the roof and it smells something dreadful) I toss my bag and purse down on a desk and wander over to the table that sits in the middle of the room. Nothing left for me to glaze, I suppose I should start working on my sculpture........2 weeks later......There it is, a palm tree on an Island :0) It was a darn tricky thing to build, the tree was top heavy and kept toppling over. The Island cracked in the kiln but its nothin a little crazy glue cant fix. Anyways, back to ceramics class. Sister's a trip and 1/2. We swore we would stuff her in the kiln one day, or make a drape mold of her face. I assure you it would be quite interesting. Although we ( And when I say we, I mean me and my red haired, mischivous friend, Jessica) cause her headaches and stress, she loves us and vice versa. Boy Im sure gonna miss that lil penguen in a habit! I almost caused her a heart attack one day. I was standing on a spinny stool trying to reach a glaze on the top shelf. Just as she was saying " Laura be careful, you might...." I tipped off the chair and...landed on my feet smiling. " What were you saying sister?" She rolled her eyes and walked away. Ah, I love ceramics class. How it changed my life:Oh well........It changed it for the good to say the least :0) You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 6915 ( Click here )
