Author's note: The places, setting, and the names of the people I use in this story are made up completely. I just thought up of the names, so they might not be real places or real people. Anyway, here's part 2.
Sheriff Jackson, a 45-year old sheriff with a mustache, was reading the local newspaper. On the front page was the headline: "Body of Dead Person Found in the Woods Near Helmstown". The sheriff was reading the newspaper in his home. He lives near the farmland. Jackson gets the newspaper everyday and reads it. He maintains order in the town of Helmstown. He scrolled down to the article concerning the body. It read: "Body found in the woods near Helmstown's local bar. It is identified as Allan Houston. Apparently, he was drunk at the time when he was stabbed 2 times. Once in the stomach, and once in the chest. It seems that the second stab killed him. They looked to be done by some sort of a knife that is shaped like a horn. The police has just recovered his body, and sent it away so an autopsy could be performed on it. Further information will be released when acquired." Jackson muttered to himself, "Looks like another case. I hope I don't have to be assigned to it. Stupid drunk probably killed himself." It was 7:00 A.M. in the morning. His duty today was at 8:00 A.M. He quickly took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast, then got ready for work. Jackson lived in the rural area, next to the farms. His work place was in the urban area. It was a short drive away; it took about 30 minutes to get there. While he was going to his car, his neighbor, Carl, said "Hi" to him. "Hiya Sheriff. Nice day, huh." "Sure is, except for the murder that happened last night. I hope I don't have to be assigned to it." Carl said with remorse, "It's a real shame. Allan didn't deserve to have that happen to him. I knew him a little. Even if he is a lousy drunk, he still didn't deserve to die like that." Jackson replied, "It sure is a shame. I hope they catch the killer soon. I hate being in suspense. Alright, now off to work I go. See you Carl!" "See you soon, Jackson!" The Sheriff then entered his car, and drove off to work. As he was driving, he mumbled to himself, " The boss better not assign me this case. I hate murder cases." His luck wasn't very good- his boss, Charles, was waiting to put someone on the case, and Jackson was at the top of his list. As he drove to work, Jackson wasn't even aware of this.
