Penny, maybe they know they are safe because the guy is locked up?? If someone is serving life in prison, maybe these woman are happier building their lives around the romantic fantasy of "what if", they don't actually ever have to worry about the man getting out of prison. There life can have some kind of meaning by showing up to the court dates, meeting with lawyers and supporting the person behind bars without any real danger to themselves.... just call me doctor Phil. |

I don't know Kelly. Sometimes mistakes get made and killers accidently get released. Remember that case here in Indiana and the ex husband was accidently released from prison and then killed his ex wife? (He was in prison because he was convicted of almost killing her before.) I suppose you are right about the women wanting to get some kind of an emotional fix by association with that type of man. As for me? I want a proven nice guy that is as sweet as Clark Kent and no alter ego. lol. |

IMO, I think the fascination with death along with some attractive male with a stigma of bad boy to him because he rebelled against the law(in his case, beyond the stigma) may be the reason why alot of these women are attracted to him. That's like serial killers who become famous from their killings and how they seem to have a fan club that follow them around. Sick? Yes indeed. |
