Ummm...well..I guess I really don't know much about cars either. Maybe you can find some books about cars or maybe a website. I only know very general things about cars. I hope you find what you're looking for though. |

What kind of info??? There is a lot of stuff, but your post is kinda vague. Maybe you should ask the questions specifically what you want to know about cars. Good Luck to you. Hope you find what you seek to know about them in the near future. |

Like MommieNealey said...what kinda info are ya after?? But basically the best ways to learn are to just hang out with car people and listen, watch and ask questions. If you are worried about looking foolish, then have a gander through car mags at a bookstore or library...have a read through the Tech Articles in them to gain some knowledge of what is what mechanically, and why certainly things are done to cars/engines etc to generate certain effects. There are plenty of online Car E-zines like www.autospeed.co.nz or if you are looking for a 'female friendly' car discussion group, then there is one in NZ, called GirlSpeed, specifically set up by a few young ladies I know who are passionate about cars and wanted to learn about them, without feeling like an idiot or having more knowledgeable guys (and some gals) being all condescending towards them: http://www.girlspeed.co.nz/iforum/ but yeah, if you have any specific questions relating to cars, then feel free to PM me and I'll help ya as best I can. Peace, |

I have been living around cars and a 'car/truck' man for years and that is pretty much all he talks about...LOL!!!...when hubby's friends come over it is like "cars are us"...LOL!!..At first I was not interested at all...And to this day I am not interested...but, I do know a little about cars and trucks...Knowing the part and what is for is about it...I fake it a lot...LOL!!!...The more your around the more you learn...**Big Canadian Hugs** |
