Searching

(I wrote this one a while back)

What the Goddess has given me
Let it pass to you
For you much well deserve it
And I shallbe in your debt
Forever I have searched
Not knowing what I shall find
Hoping that I will see before me,
And stop my journey
It continues
Searching for what?
I may not know for a thousand years
But I have vowed to learn and search for this secret.
And I will find it
I may not know what I'm looking for but the Goddess will show me
I have been through great lakes of sand and winding trails of forest,
Vast seas of loneliness, and winds of the mighty cry.
I have seen all and so little
I have learned a lot, but gained no wisdom.
Everything is backwards, yet I keep pressing on
I don't know what to look for or what to do when I find it
I may be lost but I don't care
I love it
My journey takes me to the outter edges of the universe
And back to the inner darkness of my soul
What I will find...I do not know.
I strive to find it
Though I have lost my feelings
And soon I regain consciousness under the full moon
When I change and burst into silver flames
Running free where ever I may be
I care not of the world's problems
Only to run with the Goddess and feel her night air rush against me
So fast and then stopping in the blink of an eye
Search the ocean of grass for a speck of human trails
Nothing
I'm free
And I'm happy
But once the sun rises to take me back to the woman I was...I become sad.
I want to run free forever
Maybe this is what I was searching for....

(It's a bad poem...kinda doesn't make sense. As I said...I wrote it a while back so I guess it shouldn't be that good anyways. Lol. Oh well.)
