6th Grader Stomped in Mud Puddle, ARRESTED! ~~Angeleyez~~

There was no kid-glove treatment for a 12-year-old who stomped his feet in a puddle and sprayed classmates and a school official. Deputy Tim Langer hauled Kyle Fredrikson off to jail and charged the boy with disruption of an educational institution, a misdemeanor. Kyle's parents were outraged. "The inmates had access to him. Can you imagine that for stomping in a mud puddle?" said his father. Authorities say Kyle was walking to class when Langer said the boy "purposely stomped in the water" after being told numerous times to stay out of the rain. Langer took the boy to a school office where he was cuffed, put in a patrol car and taken to jail. After two hours in a holding room, the youth was released to the custody of his mother and grandmother.

Two years to life is what I say! Then they'll see just how dangerous puddle stomping can be. I hope they catch him for hop-scotch too. No, in all seriousness that is messed up. =-bootz-=
Date: 5/27/2003 6:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 36901    That's insane. I can see him being punished for splashing everyone, but nothing near that harsh. What ever happened to detention???
Date: 5/27/2003 7:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 53900    Well it figures it would have to be Florida the school system here is so messed up. Trust me you would not believe half the things that they do here

Date: 5/27/2003 8:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 43608    THEY SHOULD PUT HIM TO DEATH, FOR GODS SAKE DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES HE PUT IN DANGER THAT DAY. I BELIEVE IT WAS ATTEMPTED MURDER ;O
Date: 5/27/2003 9:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 58308    **shakes head**
Date: 5/27/2003 10:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 54444    Chances are he wont be so quick to get out of line next time.
Date: 5/27/2003 10:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 54444    Isn't this the same state where a kindergarden boy got charged with sexual harassment for holding hands with a girl schoolmate, and a third grader got expelled for pointing his finger like a gun and going bang bang. no wonder that 12 year old turned out bad, he probably got away with puddle stomping when he was younger like in first grade or something and just went over to the dark side from lack of discipline. Oh the horror of it.
Date: 5/28/2003 2:53:00 PM  From Authorid: 3419    i would sooo sue the school system and the police department for arresting my kid for stomping in a puddle. i could see giving him detention for not listening or breaking the rules but arrest him....i would be first go to the police station pick up my son drop him off with a relative and then proceed to drive and make huge scenes at the police department, the school, the board of education and then have my lawyer zip off a letter telling them they better get their attorneys ready cause its coming lol
Date: 5/28/2003 6:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 43608    Yes MoA, The horror of it. That Evil-doer should be treated as an adult and put to death! >=(
Date: 5/30/2003 1:14:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    That is so sad...
