Liu was a teacher in China in the 1500s. One day his wife awoke to a terrifying sight: Liu was lying decapitated next to her, blood around his stump of a neck. She screamed for help, and when it came they declared she had killed her husband. She was put on trial, and thrown in prison for murder.
Months later, group of farmers were coming home after a hard day of work in the rice fields. The noticed a pit in their way, abnd peering down it they saw an open casket, with an old man covered in hair lying there. He had pale skin, blood around he face and in his clawed hands he was grasping Liu's head! The horrified farmers set the demon alight but not before getting some officials to see the mess. The hairy vampire was destroyed, and Liu's wife was set free, but the fear of the vampire stayed with her until her death... How it changed my life:This is an old Chinese folktale.
