Childern quite/childern behaved,
go down stairs and open their cage,
little eyes in the dark room,
secrets hid from the neighbor hood,
blank expressions on their sad face,
a knock at the door..
tampered door on a rusty hinge,
falls open brings the lawmen in,
the men are scared-their captors swear,
dust dancing where the cage once stood,
years after people still talkin about that day,
when the police came and took those bad men away.
