Well, when I tried to open your link, my Pop-up Window eater closed it. Strange... I don't have that address in my eater so I don't know what happened. |

that's a good suggestion, although it'd be sort of hard to cut it that way in the center without a lawnmower? |

Maybe you should try to dig in the middle or try a metal detector for some reason. I suggest you check for minerals. This is cool. Peace Out.. |

Hi, Is your house on top of a hill? it could be under ground water pooling in that one spot makeing it more fertile. |

maybe some sort of fungi is beginning to grow around it? I know there's some kinds of fungi that start of in a ring, and then keep spreading out. Some people refer to it as a faerie ring, believing that faeries use the mushrooms as seats (I think it was seats anyway... ) |

That is strange looking but cool though. I just did some yard work in my back yard. I have no grass back there....all weeds! We're working on putting grass back there though. |

If you dig 20 feet down in the ring you will find water. |

Well I have a feeling that it isnt grass...well not normal grass...its onion grass. Try smelling it and see if it smells at all like onion. As for it growing in a circle....I don't know how it did that...its just probably one of natures little surpirses or something. ~friend of GG~ |

You or someone who owned the house before you may have had a small kiddies' swimming pool or sandbox there, and the soil was somehow altered so that the grass grows better there. Maybe? I've seen that kind of thing happen with old burial mounds, where plants grow different there than in the surrounding area. |

Looks like a faerie ring to me. They are pretty common. The circle has to do with the underground fungi, which typically grows in a circle. |
