Trying to keep my mind off you
But they still try to stray
So I lay in my bed
Thinking what to do
But my thoughts on you stay
What do you do
that makes me cry when missing you
blurring my vision
not allowed to see
but in a second you make me laugh
and am allowed to laugh free
Then there are the times you whisper
words sweetly in my ear
trembling at your little kiss
faint and soft, no one can hear
my thunderous pounds of my heart as i sigh in bliss
This then brings me back to reality
These are just the little things you do
I struggle to concentrate as I ponder
