Date: 5/22/2003 5:17:00 PM From Authorid: 47699 When you feel full, it's time to stop and don't start again until you're really empty and hungry. It's as simple as that. I have an interest in food but I don't eat that much. I enjoy watching the Food Network. That doesn't mean anything. I have to consider your age here, though. You're due to have some growth spurts so it's sort of understandable. Just don't overdo it, though. You can't let yourself become obsessed with eating. If you do that, you'll end up being an obese, unhappy and unhealthy adult. Take it easy and enjoy all things in moderation. Don't sink into bad habits that will haunt you for the rest of your life and don't set yourself for regrets. That's one of the worst things that you could ever do. The point is, if you know that you're full, don't eat anymore. It's as easy as that. I wish you well. |
Date: 5/22/2003 5:38:00 PM From Authorid: 53052 try drinking water and cutting down on how much you eat.... by increasing what you eat your increasing how much your stomach can handle at 1 sitting... you want to allow your stomach to shrink |
Date: 5/22/2003 5:40:00 PM From Authorid: 42792 You are at that age...drink lots of fluids and occupy yourself with something to keep your mind off of it but know when you are really hungry. True hunger means that your body needs fuel and it may be more than what you think it should be. |
Date: 5/22/2003 6:21:00 PM From Authorid: 47218 you're about 14 right? No wonder you're hungry-- you're probably going through a growth spurt. Don't worry about it, it's perfectly normal. Eat well-balanced meals, healthy snacks and stay away from junk food. |
Date: 5/22/2003 6:37:00 PM From Authorid: 6915 LoL...I know how you feel. I feel like such a pig because food is always on my mind. |
Date: 5/22/2003 9:13:00 PM From Authorid: 60792 why do we love to eat? because it tastes good lol...they should invent something that allows you to taste and you eat just bland stuff lol. Eat until you are satisfied...that is that when you are eating and you feel that you are not hungry anymore but you are not like ohhh I can't walk I am so full then stop. If your tummy starts growling later then eat something else. But try not to eat alot late at night.....you will find that if you eat less and your stomach will shrink and then you go to eat something bigger and you just can't handle it...I used to eat fries everyday at lunch and then once in a while they would have like tacos and I love tacos and I would get a full lunch and eat it all and I would be totally miserable for the rest of the day because I wasn't used to eating that much...just eat less and then try to eat like you used to...you will definately feel some difference there |
Date: 5/22/2003 9:17:00 PM From Authorid: 60792 and some people eat out of habit and boredom...don't!!! Eat when you have to...when your stomach is so loud that everyone can hear it in the room...eat something but don't starve yourself...if your body is telling you to feed it don't ignore but don't indulge it either. But definately eat if your body needs it...if you don't you will regret it forever because it will really screw you up....like heres something that happens to me. I usually don't have time for breakfast but every once in a while I do and I eat like cereal and orange juice and then for like a week I am starving in the morning when I am usually not....heres what they say....eat like a king at breakfast and eat like peasant at dinner( or something like that) You need to eat a big breakfast to get your metabolism going and then eat just enough to get you through the night so it just doesn't sit in your body. |

You may have a tapeworm,or you could just be a growing teen.Sometimes eating can become habit forming and it's up to you to break that habbit. |
Date: 5/23/2003 8:41:00 PM From Authorid: 60162 Try a worm tablet. If not, you may be growing, people get really really hungry when they are growing, it passes when the growing stops and the extra energy is no longer needed. |
